Beer Hunter’s Report w/e 4/8/18

Here’s the Denver Beer Hunter’s Report for week ending 4/8/18:

  • WeldWerks PB+J Stout is hitting those exclusive stores that get the weekly WW drop. Also look for some fresh Juicy Bits.
  • A whole bunch of Jack’s Abbey has hit, this time in cans.
  • What the fuck is New Image thinking adding butter flavor to a beer??? On Saturday, April 7th, they release I Can’t Believe It’s Butter, an imperial stout with toasted coconut, cacao powder and organic butter extract. I’m fucking serious guys.
  • On Friday, April 6th, Cerebral will be releasing a whole shitload of beers.
    • A collab with Speciation Artisan Ales, Blended Learning is a Table Saison hopped with Galaxy and East Kent Goldings. 500 ml bottles $10, limit 3.
    • Megafauna is a 10.5% Triple IPA brewed in collaboration with Outer Range Galaxy, Enigma, Mosaic and N1/69. 16oz 4-packs $20/4-pk, limit 3.
    • A double IPA brewed in collaboration with Dancing Gnome Beer named Data Mine, hopped with a blend of Galaxy, Idaho 7, XJA2/436 and Southern Passion. 16oz 4-packs $18/4-pk, limit 3.
    • Finally, Action Potential is an IPA brewed with oats and hopped with Citra and Galaxy. 16oz 4-packs $16/4-pk, limit 3.
  • Talking about Outer Range, on Saturday, April 7:
    • ORB is also releasing the aforementioned Megafauna. Same price, but the limit is 1 case.
    • Slush DIPA with rakau hops, 8.1% ABV. $18/4-pk, 1 case limit.
    • Outer Range IPA with Cascade, amarillo, nigget and citra. $14/4-pk, 2 case limit.
    • And for something else exciting from ORB, they are releasing a collab they did with Interboro from muthafuckn Brooklyn. This will release the following weekend, on Saturday April 14. Mad Fat Steep is a triple IPA with vic secret, motueka and galaxy hops. $20/4-pk, 1 case limit.
  • On 4/20, Oskar Blues Brewery will release JAHvanilla Bourbon Barrel Aged Ten FIDY. This is so awesome, but expect a major shit show as Oskar Blues still hasn’t learned how to do beer releases. No limit means sold out to first few people in line, lulz.
    • We also found this label from Oskar Blues but know nothing of it otherwise. mocha.jpg
